Rococco Egg

Sarah Fabergé has created the Rococo to raise funds for the restoration of the Alexander Palace in the Tsars’ village of Tsarkeyo Selo.

The egg is created in sterling silver and 24-carat gold and guilloché enamelled in rich red, the enamelling process exactly as beloved by Carl Fabergé.
 

Open the Egg, and in the tradition of the Fabergé family you view the ‘surprise’. Posed on a velvet-covered platform, an exquisite hand-crafted miniature of the original red Vase from the Alexander Palace, a pair of which still being on display in the Palace today. This miniature rococo vase can be lifted out of the Egg and exhibited separately.
A proportion of the proceeds of sales on Sarah Fabergé’s Rococo Egg will assist in the refurbishment of the main Oval Entrance Hall and Enfilade of the Alexander Palace.
