Theo Fabergé, the last grandson of Russian Imperial Jeweller Carl Fabergé, passed away peacefully with his only child Sarah at his side: 20 August 2007.

2006
Theo Fabergé designed an Egg ‘With Passion and Pride’ to celebrate four great historical Prime Ministers.

2005
‘Trafalgar Egg’ commissioned in celebration of the 200th Anniversary of Nelson’s great sea victory, raises funds for Royal National Lifeboat Institution

2004
The Mariinsky Egg commissioned by the Mariinsky Palace in St Petersburg to commemorate its 10th Anniversary of service as local legislative assembly, and 150 years of original building.

‘Peter the Great Egg’ presented at opening ceremony of dedicated Gallery in St Petersburg. First award of ‘Theo Fabergé Prize for Ornamental Turning’.

2003
300th Anniversary of foundation of City of St Petersburg. ‘Tercentenary Egg’ commissioned and presented to Peterhof Palace.

'Milestones of Flight Egg’ commissioned by RAF Hendon.

Celebration of Theo Fabergé’s 80th birthday – ‘Celebration Egg’.

Awarded Honorary Liverydom of Worshipful Company of Turners.

Launch of Complication Movement Watches at Swiss Watch Fair.

Theo Fabergé‘s White House Egg, commissioned to celebrate the 200th anniversary of the Presidents’ residence, is presented to first lady Hillary Clinton.

Launch of ‘Millennium Fountain Egg’.

1999
Launch of the first ever Fabergé family watches.

Theo Fabergé raises a fund for the Alexander Palace in St Petersburg, with the creation of the Alexander Palace Egg.

1998
Designed The Hole in One Egg for the York Challenge Cup, held at Wentworth for Children in Crisis. Presentation to H.R.H. the Duke of York.

1997
The Peterhof Egg presented to the Mayor of St Petersburg, at the Embassy of the Russian Federation.

1996
The Kiev Egg presented to the Peter & Paul Fortress, St Petersburg. The Kiev Egg will remain on permanent exhibit in the Museum.

Commissioned to design the Centennial Olympic Games Egg by the Olympic Committee of Atlanta, to celebrate the Olympic Games’ 100th Anniversary.

1995
Moscow Egg by Theo Fabergé presented to the State Hermitage Museum.

1993
The St Petersburg Egg unveiled at the St Petersburg City Museum at the Peter & Paul Fortress, burial place of the Tsars of Russia.

1992
Created the Editor’s Scribe Egg for the British Society of Magazine Editors.

Created the Presentation Golden Egg to celebrate the 75th Anniversary of the People’s Dispensary for Sick Animals. Presented to HRH Princess Alexandra.

1991
Commissioned to design The Brotherhood Egg for the 75th Anniversary of Boys Town -. Guest of honour at the celebration in Boys Town, Omaha.

Honoured by the Mayor of Omaha, U.S.A. with the presentation of the Keys to the City, and made Honorary Citizen of the State of Nebraska.

Launched the Tropical Egg at Coutts & Co. London, dedicated to the Rainforest Foundation by Theo Fabergé and unveiled by Trudie Styler.

1989
The Friendship Egg commissioned by the San Diego Fine Arts Museum, to celebrate the first overseas exhibition of the Imperial Eggs from the Kremlin.

Received the keys to the City of Baton Rouge, U.S.A.

1987
Received his first commission on behalf of the St Petersburg Collection, from the Russian Orthodox Church in celebration of their millennium. The previous commission given by the Church was to Theo’s grandfather Carl.

1986
Attended the first of many worldwide exhibitions held for the St Petersburg Collection; at Marshall Fields, Chicago, where Dr. Armand Hammer first introduced the work of Carl Fabergé to USA in 1933.

1985
Establishes St Petersburg Collection Ltd.

1981
Theo accepts his first Egg commission.

1978
Elected Freeman Prizeman of the Worshipful Company of Turners - the first person to be honoured with this award since 1956.

Theo’s ivory casket commemorating the Silver Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II won the highest commendation given by the Worshipful Company of Turners.

A snuff shoe of black buffalo horn catalogued into the Fabergé collection at the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts, Richmond, Virginia, U.S.A.

Sarah Fabergé, Theo’s only child, is born.

He sold his first commission, a pair of hand-carved beechwood candlesticks.
